Bottom Filler – Cushion cementer, insole-bottom filler, insole filler Fills insole depression with compound to provide cushion for ball of foot and even surface for attachment of outsole: Spreads heated compound on insole, using spatula. Positions shoe on machine and depresses pedal to lower heated plate that presses and smooths compound. May also press and smooth compound by hand, using spatula. May also fill heated reservoir with compound.
